General Terms and Conditions (GTC) 

1. Identification of parties 

This document defines the general sales conditions (GSC) of Mathieu Cathala, independent winegrower, whose head office is located at 24 chemin de Ginestas, 11120 Sainte-Valière, registered under the number RCS/RNE N°750 634 834. 

The customer is defined as any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase via the domainemathieucathala.com website, hereinafter referred to as "the Customer". 

2. Object 

The purpose of these general conditions of sale is to define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the online sale of products offered by Mathieu Cathala to the Customer. 

3. Key product features 

The essential characteristics of products are described on the pages of each product on the site domainemathieucathala.com. It is the Customer's responsibility to read them before placing an order. 

4. Price incl. VAT in euros 

Product prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes. Delivery costs are added to the price of the products and are specified before the order is validated. 

5. Orders 

The Customer places an order on the domainemathieucathala.com website. To purchase one or more products, the Customer must follow the steps below: 

  • Select products and add to basket 
  • Validate basket 
  • Fill in delivery and billing information 
  • Choose your delivery method 
  • Choose your payment method 
  • Confirm order after verification 
  • Make payment as agreed 

6. Charges, delivery date and terms 

Les produits sont livrés uniquement en France métropolitaine, hors Corse. Les délais de livraison varient en fonction de la destination et sont généralement de 3 à 5 jours ouvrables. 

Les frais de livraison sont de :

  • 6 bouteilles : 17,40 euros TTC
  • 12 bouteilles : 22,20 euros TTC
  • 18 bouteilles : 39,60 euros TTC
  • 24 bouteilles : 44,40 euros TTC
  • 30 bouteilles : 58,80 euros TTC
  • 36 bouteilles : 64,20 euros TTC
  • 42 bouteilles : 71,40 euros TTC
  • 48 bouteilles : 78,60 euros TTC


In the event of late delivery, Mathieu Cathala will not be held responsible as long as this delay is due to the carrier. 

7. Terms of payment and right of withdrawal 

We accept the following methods of payment: 

  • Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) 

Payment is due immediately upon ordering. 

In accordance with the provisions of article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise his right of withdrawal without having to justify his decision or pay any penalties. 

Pour exercer ce droit, le Client doit notifier sa décision de rétractation en envoyant un courriel à contact@domainemathieucathala.com. Un formulaire type de rétractation est disponible en annexe des présentes CGV.

Les produits doivent être retournés dans leur état d’origine et complets (emballage d’origine, etc.) dans un délai de 14 jours à compter de la notification de la rétractation par le Client. Les frais de retour sont à la charge du Client. 

Le remboursement sera effectué une fois que les produits retournés auront été reçus et contrôlés par la société Mathieu Cathala

8. Legal and commercial warranties 

The products sold are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.

9. Contract term, termination conditions and any surety or guarantee 

These GTC apply throughout the duration of online services offered by the company Mathieu Cathala. 

The contract is concluded for the duration necessary for the provision of products and services subscribed, until the extinction of guarantees and obligations owed by the company Mathieu Cathala. 

10. Code of conduct and dispute resolution 

Mathieu Cathala undertakes to comply with a code of conduct that complies with the rules of professional ethics and deontology. 

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action is taken. Failing this, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction. The customer may also have recourse to a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute resolution method. 

11. Personal data protection 

The information collected on the domainemathieucathala.com website is necessary for the management of orders and commercial relations with the Customer. It is processed in accordance with the privacy policy available at domainemathieucathala.com/rgpd/. 

12. Liability 

Mathieu Cathala cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from misuse of the product purchased. 

Mathieu Cathala cannot be held responsible for any delay caused by the carrier. 

13. Droit d’annulation

La société Mathieu Cathala se réserve le droit d’annuler ou de refuser toute commande pour les motifs suivants, sans que sa responsabilité ne puisse être engagée :

  • En cas de rupture de stock ou d’indisponibilité du produit commandé.
  • En cas de problème concernant la commande reçue (par exemple, des informations erronées ou impossibles à vérifier).
  • En cas de comportement anormal ou abusif du Client.
  • Pour tout autre motif légitime, notamment un incident de paiement ou une fraude présumée.

Dans le cas d’une annulation, le Client sera informé dans les plus brefs délais et tout paiement déjà effectué sera remboursé.
